Which grinder should I choose between the C5 ESP and C5 PRO models? It all depends on your needs: if you mainly prepare espressos, opt for the C5 ESP PRO. It has a smaller grind range than the C5 PRO, but offers much greater precision with fine grinds for an ideal adjustment (0.015mm per click for the C5 ESP versus 0.031mm per click for the C5 PRO).
Did you know that?We move from series C4 to series C5 because the number 4 is considered unlucky. In Chinese, it's a near homophone for "death." It's common for floors/rows numbered 4 not to be marked.
The highlights
- The C5 series, with improved performance:increased grinding surface (larger millstones) and longer milling path for better homogeneity (the grains spend more time in the millstones)
- Non-slip silicone base
- Mill structure made from a single block:No risk of deformation, better longevity and efficiency
