Moringa Oleifera has many names: miracle tree, tree of life, horseradish tree (because its roots smell like horseradish) and even "stick tree", because of its hanging bean-shaped fruits that resemble sticks.
The Moringa tree originates from the Himalayan region of northwestern India, but it is now cultivated in more than 80 countries. The tree has been used in India for approximately 5,000 years and is part of Ayurvedic medicine. According to Indian folklore, Moringa can cure more than 300 diseases.
Moringa leaves have a rich taste, and pieces of apple and pineapple give this complex tea blend its pleasant fruity notes, while ginger adds a touch of spice.
